This stylesheet condenses comments on deviantART.com. Works best with signatures hidden.

This stylesheet is a work in progress and needs additional work. If you find anything you'd like to change, leave a comment! :aww:

Hmmm. I can see how this would be good, but I would like the option to have this or not. I personally, prefer the comments separated. However, to have this option on comments that lead on from another (a chain) this would be good. For all others, leave unlinked.

Would you mind taking a look at a pastie with some of my changes to this style? See what you think?

A majority of the changes are to make it more compatible with firefox (lots of !importants since many of your stylings were getting overwritten) and to keep most of the functionality. I also made a few aesthetic changes to help keep it in style with the dA comments. Would love to hear your thoughts on the changes =)

Oh interesting! I like how the replies are attached to each other and there's more space between the top level comments. Nice job!

Thank you! And thank you for sharing your work with us! It's a wonderful stylesheet that helps clean up some of dA's space bloat. Always felt that comments (since they can come in quite large numbers) should use up minimal space.

Been trying to work with re-adding the left bottom corners when they can be there, but because of dA's comment/nesting structure it's proving to be quite difficult; if not impossible.

That's true! :-) I meant no offense. It's just that I always thought DD's were meant for showcasing truely impressive artwork.

Nah, not necessarily, DDs are to feature whatever the GMs think deserve more attention.

Nothing. If you have signatures enabled, they will show. If not, they won't.

I don't get it, does it show more messages at a time? Does it make messages load faster?

Ok, I notice something changed. The text might be a bit smaller and the reply button is now in a really ankward place. But no good changes.

Oops. It didn't quite work for me. The text on the comments is smaller and takes up less room, but there are still gaps between user comments. Perhaps I didn't install it correctly? I'm using Chrome.

This is pretty awesome. I was unsure at first because they were so close together. But when I read the comments and saw you could edit to put some space, I liked it a lot more~! Great job! :la:

I think this is useful, it's a great approach and I'm sure many will love this. I think it's a nice addition for the forum area, for the deviations that have a lot of comments, and for the announcements that also have a lot of comments.
By the way, congrats on the DD! :la:

I like the condensed comments thing but I like the full-size comments because they look stylish. :D

Maybe if the condensed comments like... Had some gloss, or something....?
