deviantART Birthday #devart Hunt 2012!Well, it's early August again, and you all know what that means! It's time for the most epic celebration on the planet: deviantART's birthday! This year is no exception, and what's a dA birthday without an image hunt?
The rules are pretty simple. Below, there are two lists: One containing a small fragment of a deviation, and one of a list of deviants in a number of various different galleries across dA. What you need to do is figure out what deviation the fragments belong to, and by extension, what deviant.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it is to form a list of who the images belong to, in the order that the images appear in this article. Your deadline? Midnight Pacific Time, August 7th 2012. Another dAmn Interview! - LawraRandalaAnother dAmn Interview! is an interview series I've started up where I interview a deviant who is a regular in the dAmn/Chatroom area of deviantART, and ask them to share their initial and current opinons on that area of the site. 1. When did you start using dAmn compared to how long you've been on dA?
- I created my first account on December 2005, and around January 2006 I found the chatrooms... so pretty quick, I'd say.

2. Did you find yourself drawn to any chatrooms in particular when you first started using them?
- For years, I went to #devart only. I found a lot of people there that I felt connected with, and it didn't even occur to me to go anywhere else. But things have changed in there, and I've started 'wandering' around, so to say.

Everyday we're CV'ingAs a Community Volunteer - I do as much or as little within the community that I feel comfortable doing. We're not pressured to do this and that, we don't even have to give a Daily Deviation every day, we choose how we promote our selected galleries/chats and forums and we're not fixed to any specific rule on how much or how little we do. But I do believe that it's important to share with you just what the community volunteers do and why we do it. Art History: Takeshi ObataTakeshi Obata is an award-winning Japanese manga artist well-known for his contributions towards series such as Hikaru no Go, Bakuman, and more. His projects are often in collaboration with writers.
His style is unique among shonen artists, many don't explore fashion when it comes to manga - but his character designs often include fashionable clothing and trendy items. He's known for the extreme detail in his artwork.
One of his most popular works is Death Note, which is well-known globally. Death Note is one of two series where he worked with writer, Tsugumi Ohba; they recently collaborated again for Bakuman. At the time of publishing, Death Note was nothing anyone else had seen before in manga, and received positive views by critics.

Hi ^Astralseed, tell us a little about yourself and your style of Art.
Hi I'm Katy and I am not very good at talking about myself

. As far as my art style goes, I don't really feel that I have a particular style so to speak. I like to dabble in any and all areas of art which I possibly can and just absorb it all like a sponge. I think the style will follow eventually when I am more comfortable with the basics.
What is it that attracts you to Traditional Art?
Traditional art offers a lot of variety and options.

Quino - Latin American cartoonistJoaquín Salvador Lavado, better known as Quino, is an Argentine cartoonist born in Mendoza on July 17, 1932. According to his official website, Quino discovered his love for art at the young age of 3 thanks to his uncle Joaquín Tejón, painter and advertising illustrator.

In Mendoza, he went to the School of Fine Arts (Escuela de Bellas Artes) with the hopes of working for the comic Rico Tipo. However, he left the school in 1945. Five years later, he sells his first cartoon to a silk shop and visits Buenos Aires for 3 weeks in search for a job, with not luck whatsoever. In 1954, he returns to Buenos Aires where some of his works get published by Esto Es. In 1963 he publishes his first book: a collection of silent comics titled Mundo Quino.
